She had been sitting here, for who knows how long. The time seemed to blend like the soft ripples on the lake. She didn't know why she sat here, or why she felt so empty. She didn't know what she would do, should do. Only the pain, the hunger, the feeling of life in some distant space made her know that she was really there. That, and the reflection on the water. The white wolf, with blue eyes. Same as the wolf she had chased away, the wolf who had dared to speak to her. She didn't want company, didn't want help. She didn't know what had happened to her, but she had a knowledge. Such a great knowledge. Almost as if she knew everything, but could do nothing. Then the words, the few words. Mystic, pup, death. All that remained of her past. She had lost, lost everything. Her pack now somewhere, but she couldn't remember. It was as if they didn't want her to know, or she herself had forgotten everything. Yes, she had forgotten. The pain of Rainscoft telling her Nedjo was gone had made her forget, made her erase her own memory. Nedjo, Nedjo was gone. Yes, now she remember faintly. Oh so faintly. Nedjo, he was gone. But who was Nedjo? Who was . . . Nedjo? She just stared into the water, frozen in thought. Frozen.

Nedjo had finally come up to the female...she seemed so sad....so lonely...his heart began to ache as a faint memory of her appeared in his mind but the sudden pain in his head made him shake away the thought....
"Ex...excuse me....." He said in very kind and non threatening tone. His head lowered as were the pups...

Silence did not turn, she did not want to. She just spoke, "What do you want? Are you another loner?" She held no emotion, but the phrase made it seem as if she wanted nothing to do with wolves. Which was, of course, true. Silence wanted no company . . . no memories at all. Just the water, the forever calming water.

Nedjo looked to the ground, "Forgive me for bothering you...I...my nephew and neice we need a home...we wanted to know if we may live here or join your pack....if you are the alphess or can tell me where to find the alphas I will be grateful." He said still in a calm tone...his voice echoed, the waters seeming to vibrate.

Silence pulled her ears back, turning to face him, "Why do you want a pack?" Her voice, still lifeless. Her eyes, they were different, they seemed to brighten when she saw Nedjo. When she saw the pups, they went dull again. The memory of her own loss striking a pain in her soul.

"Because....I do not have a pack.....forgive me...These are my brothers pups, Lana and Amoro. My brother Dajo, died and asked me to take care of them....but I have no memory of how he died....I do not have a pack to have a family with..." He said is voice as sad as hers...
Dajo's voice whispering in her ear..."Silence? Do you not remember?"

Silence perked her ears, her eyes growing wide. She turned around, almost crying. She looked into the water, she knew. She remembered. He did not, he did as he asked. Perhaps to much, perhaps. She would remind him, but not about her. Turning she spoke lightly, "Nedjo, you are home. The Fallen Nightmares took you in, you brother Dajo died from a clan of mountain lions called the Venom claw clan. After the war with the clan was over you vanished, and now you are home again. Tell me, what do you remember?" Her voice was smooth, and unbreaking. The tears and pain held back for Nedjo sake, and for the pups sake.

Nedjo looked at the Fae before him completely confused.
"I am sorry? The Fallen Nightmares? Is that the name of your pack? I do not remember much.....you...." he seemed to reconize her before a pain was brought to his head again.
"Nothing....." he said dully shaking his head.

Silence sighed, "Thats ok, I don't expect you to. After all . . . I was the one-" She stopped herself. "The Fallen Nightmares is the name of our pack. You and I were once good friends, we got into a fight before you vanished though." She paused, trying to find a way to bring his memory back but only bits. Only parts that would make him forget about her.

Nedjo sat on his haunches as Silence spoke...nothing surfacing in his mind as she spoke of events.
"I am sorry if we fought....but...I think I would have remembered fighting with you....you have beautiful eyes...." He said with shyness..
A memory surfacing of him saying this to her before...when they first met....he shook his head as pain returned to it...
What he said was De Ja Vu for them both.

Silence pulled her ears back, closing her eyes, "Nedjo, I was barely there." Her voice was dry, almost as if she was tearing all emotion from it, "I barely knew you. I am a Mystic, I can do nothing but watch, nothing but stear wolves to their destiny." She opened her eyes, the same lifeless tint in them as had been before Nedjo had come. "Nedjo, You were missed. You still are, but I don't even know if our pack is here. I don't even know if they made it. I don't even know where I am myself. I only know that the Mystics are here, in this water and this soil. Somehow they are here." She turned, looking into the water, "This water, it has the color of my eyes. Yet it is alive, it hold emotion. Unlike my own." Her voice was faint, she did not want him to remember and he still was. Somehow, he was remembering. 'He must forget' her though echoed in her mind, 'he must forget, or so many will die.'

Nedjo nuzzled the two pups who were looking bored and tired and completely lost in the conversation.
He raised his head to her again and gave one of his silly fanged grins. "Then we are both lost." he said with the smile. "The fae that brought me here said she smelled the pack, but did now where they were..."
He just looked at her, his cool blue eyes calm and tranquil.

"That fea, did she have white fur?" Silence hoped he would not say yes, the fea that she had chased off was the one that would be with . . . with him. She shrudered, Faith. The sister of the wolf that would try and kill this pack. Try and kill . . . kill her. She looked at Nedjo, a worry in her eyes, "Did she have eyes like mine?" Her question had an urgent tone to it, if Nedjo said yes then fate had already begun to unfold. Fate had already begun to write their destiny.

Nedjo looked at her a little taken aback by the sudden questions..."White fur...yes...but eyes like yours...I am not sure..." he said a little saddened that he was unable to give her a straight answer.

Silence nodded slowly, "Yes, then it was probally her. Unless other white wolves are running around here." She shook her head, angered by the fact that she could not stop Faith from ruining destiny. "Was there any others with her? Did she tell you her name, or anything about her?" Her questions may have seemed odd, maybe out of place. But if she got the right anwsers, maybe she could stop the wolf from ruining everything, maybe she could save the pack. Maybe then, maybe she could tell him. She whinced with slight pain, the same pain that had been going on and off for a while now. She knew why though, and it gave her comfort. It gave her the only hope she had. It also gave her fear, a dawning fear that she only just now noticed. If things were to go as planned, she had to tell Nedjo the truth. She sighed, looking back out unto the water, "Nedjo, you can remember nothing? Nothing at all? Not even me . . . "
