Aire flew through the air in circles, scenting a wolf pack. I was very strong so she must be close to the borders. She descended to the ground and landed on a large, flat rock that overlooked a wide river. Her paws touched the rock's hard surface and she instantly felt warmth surge through her feet. She quietly dropped down onto her belly and stretched out her white wings. The warmth felt so good, it was nearly impossible to get up...
Airevida's eyes closed as she listened to the sound of the river and the twittering of birds. She smiled slightly and sighed. She had to admit that she felt a bit edgy to be on the border of a packland, but still... warm, flat rocks like these dont come every day.
"Hissss....."
"Wha-" Aire said as she raised her head and looked around. Right in front of her nose was a large male copperhead with it's tongue flickering out. uickly she scrambled to her feet and took off into the air. She found a higher rock and settled down on that one. She hoped for the best that no other snakes would come, but she was on the lookout for them just in case. You never know.

Faith had know the rocks were there, she had lived in the territory now inhabitted by the Rouges. As she had learned from her brother, Falcon. After their talk they had each gone their own way, herself getting into a fight with Falcon and leaving him slightly depressed. 'Good' she thought to herself, 'now he will know what I felt for three years of my life.' Still she couldn't help but feel bad after the story he had told her, the story she had forced out of him. She didn't care, the pack had chased her out and left her to die. Why should she care if the Rouges killed them off? Why should she care if her parents and possibly her other brother were killed? They did not try and save her, they did not try and protect her. No, they just watched her as she fled. Her paws touched the rocks and she sighed as the warmpth filled her legs. "So many memories." This was where she had slept the night she had been chased from her own home. This is where she was bite by a copper head, where she almost died on her first night alone. The humans, they had saved her somehow. The humans, a group of animals she would never understand. Before they hunted her and then they had saved her. She still feared them, but the few that helped her would always stay in her memory. She knew that the humans had a mining area just south of the Sunning rocks and that was where they had taken her, until she had run from them too. She did not know if the humans were still there, but she did not care. Right now she would just rest, rest her tired legs. The scent of wolf was strong, but she assumed it was from the scent markers that were now on both sides of the sunning rocks and not from an actuall wolf. Little did she know that the wolf could see her, after all her white coat didn't help to keep her hidden among the tan rocks.

Aire dozed off, basking in the sun's rays. She had rested her head on her two front paws and relaxed her wings. The sound of the river flowing by soothed her tired mind; she had just come in contact with a group of humans not too long ago. The thought of them chilled her to the bone. She carelessly lolled her tongue as she rolled onto her back with her paws in the air. Submissive and exposing, yes. But Aire was high on a rock not accessable by anything without wings or that could climb an almost ninety degree angle. She let in a deep breath and exhaled. The temperature was a perfect eighty-five degrees, with a slight breeze blowing and ruffling her belly fur.
Then a sound came. It was hardly anything noise at all, and naturally Aire put it off as a copperhead. But the sound tugged at the back of her mind and furced her to open her golden eyes. She rolled over and curiously peeked over the side of the tan rock. Almost ten meters away was a white wolf. By the looks of it she was tired and edgy, and Aire thought it best not to disturb her. Still, she couldn't resist her urges to keep watching. She rested her head on te warm rock and pulled her legs to the side as se rested on her shoulder, one paw dangling slightly over the edge.

Her ears perked at the small rustling, the scent of snake. She paused, her eyes looking over the rocks and spotting the pattern of the coperhead. She grinned, the snake was a mere chance for her to get some anger out. She crouched, comming up on the snake and paused. Lifting her head she ignored the creature, sparing its life. There was a wolf here, no doubt about it now. One thing she thanked her weak eyes for, the sense of smell and heightened hearing. She lowered her head again. She would just ignore the wolf. There was no point in greeting her, for all she knew the wolf was one of the rouges claiming this land too, after all they had already taken the forest to the north. She paused. If this wolf was a rouge, she had to kill it. A small snarl rose in her throat. Rouges . . .. She turned, facing the direction the scent was comming from, "You know, when your watching a wolf its best to stay downwind." She growled, "Now what are you doing here?"

Aire's head perked up considerately, her expression mildly amused. "Actually, I havn't known you were here when I first landed on these rocks. I Assumed that the scent of wolf in the air was due to the scentmarks strewn across the bank of the river." She smiled crookedly, taking in the white wolf's image. She hardly posed a threat to Airevida. "I don't look to fight, and last time I checked, I'm on the outside of your packland."

Faith chuckled slightly, "My packlands? You think I have a pack, or am even an alpha for that matter?" She shook her head slightly, "No, just another loner. These are however, loners lands. They have been this for centuries, and will remain as such. So unless you are a loner I strongly sugest that you go elsewhere.
