Katu's paws were a blur above the ground, carrying her with haste along the scent trail the giant talon had left on its slithery path to her and the pups. She dodged thick brush and trees, her eyes searching for the place the wolves seemed to be. She slowed, the scent becoming very strong. Katu looked down, seeing pawprints in the dirt, and the scents of other wolves were around the area: Remmus...Silence...Rainscoft...a new wolf...and of course, Nedjo. Running again, Katu made her way up a small slope, and the mouth of a cave gaped at her, opening into darkness. But before the shadows could go any further, she spotted the figures of the wolves. And she saw Nedjo. "NEDJO!!" She cried, bounding forward, breathless, but full of glee. "Oh, you're all right! I was so worried..." She stopped near them, giving a toothy grin. "And this thing came around... Some kind of tallon-looking sculpture... And then it just crashed... But I smelled you!" Then she remembered Silence. "Silence! You're here too! I'm so glad you're all ok." She peered around at everyone, overjoyed that they were all here.

Remmus looked to Katu, sighing, "Katu, my dear friend. You must help Nedjo, for i have done my part in this play." Her powers needed a rest, as did her body. The fire had taken over her, leaving burn marks on her pelt. Her already weak legs grew weaker, something pulling her under. "Help."

Katu grinned toward Remmus, but the corners of her lips turned down with each word spoken. She glanced at Nedjo, then finally took in the situation. Something had gone wrong. She wasn't sure what, but Remmus was injured. She hurried to Remmus's side, examining her wounds. "Ah, Remmus, have you not yet learned how to direct your power away from yourself?" Katu had a slightly teasing tone to her voice, but she knew the burns would become infected if not taken care of. The healing ability of her fire would not work here, for Katu only used that for open wounds, and more heat would damage the skin further. "I'll be right back," she told Remmus, glancing at Nedjo again, wondering what was wrong with him for Remmus to say he needed help. She left the cave, searching for a burn remedy.
Luckily, nearby there was a small patch of marigold flowers, their yellow hue drawing Katu toward them. She snatched a few up in her jaws and carried them back to where the cave was. She sat by Remmus and chewed up the flowers, the taste of the plant making Katu wrinkle her nose. "Let me put this on your burns, Remmus." Katu tried to say with her mouth full of mashed petals and stems.

"Thank you, but please, i am not the one you need to help. Rainscoft came, Silence and Nedjo were near death. And now, Nedjo remembors, remembors everything. Their wounds are not fully healed," She got up and walked over to Nedjo. "Welcome him back."

Nedjo had since passed out again. He was dreaming...of being a father. With his Silence...then it turned to fire....and pain Nedjo was struck...laying on the warm charred earth.
"Good bye father!" Said a wolf with firey eyes as he swiped at Nedjo.
Then he finally woke up.

Silence cringed in slight pain, somthing was still wrong. She felt pain, more than any she had ever felt. Was this the pup? No, it couldn't have been. She sighed slightly, her voice slightly broken by another jolt of pain. Rainscoft looked towards her, his memories drifting back to both Uliva and Katu. "Silence?"
She looked at him, her eyes flashin with a slight anger but it faded, slowly it faded. She did not sigh, but most would have mistaken her low expelling of breath to be a sigh. No, she was just breathing deeply. It was not the pup as Rainscoft thought, it was her mind. It was the SkyWalkers. They were speaking, their voices burning her memories.
"Silence, we know of your pup. Your punishment shall come, in form of death by those you care for. your pup shall become the Chaos that will tear your pack apart. He will be the one wolf that no one will care to love for he will be pain and desolation. He will turn down all compassion, snarl at any form of pity, and kill those that try and stop him from becomming what we have predetermined." The voices paused, letting Silence shrink to the ground in pain, "Chaos will kill you." They slowly faded, the weight on her mind vanishing as fast as it had come. She was crying, each tear like feul to the fire that was inside her. Slowly burning, waiting for air to feed it. Waiting for hatred to empower it. The last line, burned into her memory, "Chaos will kill you." Who was she to question fate?
She looked towards Nedjo, her voice low and solem, "Our pup, we will name him Chaos." With those words, she sealed her fate. With her own voice she made her death unquestionable. Death.

Remmus knew these words were welcoming death. She glanced at silence, confused, angry, sorrow. What shall become of this pup, Chaos. It must controll her mind. "I would like to mentor the pup, i would like to mentor Chaos." Did the words really just come out of her mouth? "In a way, train him to be a hunter." She really wanted to, as scary as it was. She would help, she would welcome him into her arms, be his so called mentor. Why? Indeed, why? She only knew deep inside, it would come out soon. "Please." She pleaded.

Nedjo sighed standing up...and nuzzling Silence. "Silence...before we go any further. Will you welcome Haru and Lana as your son and daughter as well? We can raise them all together we can be a......family...." He lowered his head...feeling that he may have overstepped a boundary.

"Silence? I will not let the other Sky Walkers do this to you. You have done nothing wrong. You have broken no laws. I will Protect your's and my brother's son." Came Dajo's voice. She chould hear other voices the voice's of the two spirits that were in Nedjo.
"Sky Walker's. They think they have such great powers and are older than they planet. They have no powers such as our's"

Finally feeling a lump in her throat, Katu spat out the mashed flowers. She frowned toward Remmus, annoyed she had walked away. But with a smile, Katu noticed Nedjo wake up. "Welcome back Nedjo." She murmured. Katu's eyes quickly swept over everyone. She was so confused since she obviously missed something important. She worried for everyone. It seemed something was always plaguing their minds, and no matter what words she might speak, she knew it would offer no comfort for what they knew to be true. But Silence, she knew everything now, and Katu could see the anguish and and apprehension it was filling her up with. As a pool fills with rainwater, Katu could tell Silence was being filled with her knowledge every moment. A sigh of frustration was released from Katu's throat. She wished she could just know, so that maybe she could in some way... Alter what was to come? This thought made Katu inwardly kick herself. Of course she couldn't! She was a normal wolf in a mystic's eyes, destined to die one way or another, and live, oblivious to fate's plan. Chewing on her tongue, Katu simply watched, although she wanted so badly to ask a million questions about what was ahead of the pack. She looked to Rainscoft, worry reflected in her eyes. An invisible thread was slowly becoming frayed. She felt it.

Nedjo looked over towards Katu. "Thank you....Is something wrong?" He asked her....though his mind was wandering.

She looked to Katu, nervouse. And then back to Nedjo, the last question she spoke, still waiting in her eyes. "Nedjo, do you need anything? Food, water?" BBUt the question still lingering in the air, can i be his godmother?

Nedjo had forgotten all about food...and his stomach cried out with hunger.
"I...am hungry...." He said feeling weak again. He looked to Silence...love in his eyes. And then the pride of being a father soon.

When Nedjo spoke to her, Katu blinked out of a stare. She smiled, answering, "Oh, no, nothing is wrong. I was just thinking, maybe I should get back to my pups, since I now know everything is all right here." She lied. Inwardly, something was screaming out to them, to have them share whatever was on their minds. Katu had a thought then. "Oh, Nedjo, you haven't seen the pups yet, have you? Would you like to?" She grinned happily, her tail swaying with joy as she imagined her pups tumbling about the den in a few weeks. "We could hunt on the way too. If that is all right of course..." She trailed off, wondering if Nedjo would accept. Maybe she could ask a few questions about what seemed to be on his mind during their walk back to the den. She eyed Rainscoft, trying to determine if he would agree.

Nedjo gave a flattered grin towards Katu. "Of course...I would love to see your pups." He smiled then turned toward Silence.
"You will be alright? Won't you? I will bring us all back something to eat..." The pups Haru and Lana had managed to find their way underneath Silence nuzzling her legs.
Nedjo licked her nose affectionatly and turned to go with Katu.
