She walked slower than normal, thinking about things she hadn't thought about in a while. She was tired - exausted actually. After Nedjo fell asleep she planned to go the cove, the reputed spot that Midnight died. She had listened to enough stories to know what the place was and though she was tired she knew she wouldn't be able to sleep. She was never able to sleep. She tripped, regaining her balance quickly. Nedjo followed behind her. Both wolves walked on in silence, nothing but the fall wind to keep them from going insane.
"Well... I guess this is it then." She stood in front of the caves, their openings like black holes of nothing against the grey. It was so odd looking, not like a home... not yet. It still felt empty, still felt as though the world around it didn't want it there. But maybe that was just her, yes, it had to be just her.

Nedjo looked to the cave. It seemed dark and foreboding yet it also seemed like a home. He nuzzled up against Silence as his body felt weak and tired. "We should get some rest. You and the pup. " He smiled kindly towards her as he sniffed around the cave, making sure nothing scampered in and walked in a little ways. He found a smooth stone slab weathered down by the elements just a little ways in from the mouth of the gave. He looked from it towards Silence.
After a minute of unspoken eye contact he laid down. "You should get some rest. " he repeated.

Rest? He thinks about sleep... when all I can think about is how all this will end? She smiled fainted, laying down next to him. Letting her own body slip into the warmpth of his. She missed this, she missed the closeness of it all. She nuzzled agaist him, breathing a soft sigh.
All of it will end with Choas. All of it... will end... with Chaos.
What? Tell me what it means, tell me... tell me. I'm begging, I have to know. Tell me how I can stop it. I want to save them all! Please, you are Mystics! Tell me!
The voices were there, but not. It was simply a memory, a faint and distant memory...
Silence - you can not save them this time. You can not stop the end of all things. You can not.
It isn't the end of all things... only me... only my body... only my heart. I won't be gone forever. Even Midnight, who betrayed you all to save his pack is still here. He did not pass away... only ended.
Yes, but with the end of physical come the fall of emotion. You will be ruined, and you will be forced to watch the rest of it. Forced to hear but not to be heard. That will be your punishment. Midnights was of a different sort.
That was it, that was the answer. In her memories she had found the problem, and the solution. "Nedjo... when I die. Don't try to save me." Her eyes were still closed, her breathing calm. "When I die, don't be sad or afraid... just... wait and listen." She must have sounded like she was insane, she must have. But to her, this was the only way. Nedjo would be her only link... she only hoped he would be able to hear her. She could only hope...

Nedjo had laid his furry head across Silences neck to help keep her warm.
"When..you die?" He said somewhat confused. But then he had remembered her saying something that she was to die...the mystics.
"Silence....I...er..." He could stand the thought of losing her now. He had just been reunited with her. With her and his to be offspring. "When the time comes..." He said simply embracing her.

She smiled, ever so faintly.
When the time comes...
The time comes soon enough Silence.
I know
You will die. Nothing can stop that.
She hummed softly, a lullaby that her mom had whispered in her ear so long ago.
I will die well. Won't I?
Her mothers voice, the soft melody of her sweet sound. Yes my child, you will die well. You will die for love.
Her eyes dropped shut, the dreams floating back to her like clouds in the wind. One last thought, one last memory came to mind.
Hope...
Another heartbeat sounded within her womb.
My dearest Hope.
There were two.

Nedjo's ears twitched from the sound of Silence humming. He closed his eyes listening to her. It sounded familiar yet not. Slowly his eyes shut as his mind cleared from the fog of the past events. He was lost and now found. He was alone and now was with a pack. One last thought occurred to his mind before he fell off to sleep.
'Im...a father.'

-------- The daylight filtered through the cave lazily, the strange haze of dawn slowly seeping into the rocks from the needles of the forest. It was odd, to have the two wolves illuminated by the light. Her pluse raced faster than it would have normally, her ears hotter than they should have been. She whimpered slightly, from a dream no doubt. There was something more though... something wrong with her. Her eyes opened, but they were blind to the world. Her mind thought, but could not hear. Her voice was smooth, void of any emotion - void of even herself. It was as a whisper, silent with deadly intent. "Nedjo... father to destruction. Nedjo. Lone father to destruction..." She sighed, regaining her normalarity. This time her voice was kind, more like her than the voice of a dream. "Nedjo" She brushed her head against his, licking the base of his neck tenderly. "Wake up."

Nedjo started to stir the moment she moved. But did not wake till she licked at his neck. He stretched and yawned and shook his head and looked up to Silence.
"Is everything alright?" he said in a dry tired voice. His ears twitched with the sounds of the forest waking up to the sunlight.

She smiled again. "I think so. I just... don't feel right." She laid her head down on her paws, in a strange sort of half sleep. "It feels like something is going to happen today, and I don't know what it is...."
She yawned, her jaw snapping shut with a soft clicking sound. She looked back up at Nedjo, wondering if he was worried the same way she was. Worried about the dangers that have pups so close to winter would produce. Though, her and Rainscoft had been born in the fall and they had survived. I am being silly... The thought was simple. I really should just relax, there isn't much I should worry about.
ooc;; Sorry my reply is so short, I'm kinda brain dead today. -.-

Nedjo gave a tired smile. "I am sure everything will be alright. Are you hungry? I could go hunting if you like? I remember the river had plenty of fish..and I saw some rabbits earlier...and some berries too. " He said in a still waking up sounding voice.
He walked around the cave and stretched before coming to her and nuzzling her slightly.

Without waiting for Silence to answer Nedjo gave a slight nod and nuzzled her gently. "I will bring back some food. " He said quietly before heading out the cave door.
He padded along for a few minutes before rushing into the brush. Then slowing down suddenly smelling a rabbit. He closed his eyes for a minute.
"Forgive me Brother Rabbit...May the spirit world reward you for your gift.." He whispered before growling like a beast and leaping out of the brush and chasing off the scared little animal. He chased it for a few seconds before catching it and snapping its neck quickly.
After catching his breath he ran back to Silence. Carrying the rabbit limp in his muzzle. He came to cave and sat it down.
"Here *pant* is breakfast " he panted out with a slight smile with some blood on his muzzle.

Silence looked at the rabbit silently, pulling her left ear back just slightly. She wasn't hungry. For all that she felt, she wasn't hungry. "No.... you eat it." She sighed, laying her head down on her paws. Nothing felt right. It was as if the whole of the world were upside down, and she was the one that was supposed to turn it right side up again.
For a few seconds she was silent, listening to the heartbeats of her pups. "Nedjo. I don't know if I want... want all this."

Nedjo had taken a bite from the meat and listened to Silence.
"What do you mean ? You dont want what?" He asked quietly hoping everything was alright.
"I wont eat it all. Incase you get hungry. I can go out and get some more if you would like. " He said calmly.

Silence looked down, at her own paws. Just listening. Because everything seemed to be off in the world, and sounds was the only thing that was right. "I don't want to... have the pups... Nedjo.... I don't want to..."
Her eyes were tired, droopy like she hadn't slept in forever. A uneven beat in her heart, a skip here and a skip there. Something wasn't right.
She smiled, slightly. "Nedjo... you've been... there always. You never would have left me... I don't want to leave you."

Nedjo looked a bit shocked and taken aback at her comments.
"I...I tried to be there...even if I was possessed. Why do you not want to have the pups? They would be our offspring?" He said. His voice had a slight whimper to it.
